<p style="text-align: left;">The City of Bellevue’s annual fall cleanup will be held Oct. 17 and 24. The three Street department shop areas – 29th and Hancock; 12805 S. Ninth St. and the old landfill near 8902 Cedar Island Road – will be open from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both days.</p>
<p><strong>Residents may drop off the following items: </strong></p>
<p>• Household furniture</p>
<p>• Lawn furniture</p>
<p>• Storm doors and windows</p>
<p>• Major appliances</p>
<p>• Broken toys, bicycles, wagons, etc.</p>
<p>• Bed springs and mattresses</p>
<p>• Construction material</p>
<p>• Automotive part<br />
<span>• Propane tanks</span></p>
<p>• Tires</p>
<p>Haworth Park will be open both days from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to accept trees and brush. The city requires all trees and brush to be hauled directly to the Haworth Park/Marina area for disposal.</p>
<p><strong>The following items will not be accepted at the shops:</strong></p>
<p>• Trees and brush</p>
<p>• Computer hardware</p>
<p>• Leaves and yard wastes (special pickup weekly)</p>
<p>• Automotive oil (can be recycled on regular garbage day)</p>
<p>• Paint and hazardous wastes (go to <a href="http://www.underthesink.org/">www.underthesink.org</a> for hazardous waste collection facilities)</p>
<p>Residents will be directed to unload solid waste directly into a Papillion Sanitation compactor truck or near a roll-off container.</p>
<p>All other items will need to be separated: Appliances, metal and batteries (automotive, flashlight); Propane tanks; Concrete and masonry products</p>
<p>All residents are asked not to bring items that can be bagged and left curbside for normal weekly pickup.</p>
<p>All children must remain in vehicles at dump areas. The city’s contractor has salvage rights to all materials brought to the sites. No salvaging will be allowed by private parties.</p>
<p>The cleanup is for Bellevue residents only who pay their trash fee on the M.U.D. bill. Everyone must bring the previous month’s M.U.D. bill to prove residency.</p>
<p>Cleanup is restricted to residential items only. Commercial and business items will not be accepted.</p>
<p>No vehicles larger than pickup trucks will be permitted unless prior arrangements are made.</p>
<p>Senior citizens and disabled individuals who meet low income guidelines can make arrangements to have items picked up Oct. 19 by calling 293-3019 by noon Oct. 16.</p>
<p>Any other questions can be referred to the street department at 293-3126.</p>
<p>A food donation to the Bellevue Food Pantry is requested with each load.</p>
