Girls and Boys Town

The campus, site of the original Father Flanagan’s Boy’s Home and located at 137th and West Dodge Road, provides homes and education for abused, neglected and abandoned children. The 900-acre campus, a national historic landmark, has a middle school and high school, a farm, gardens, two churches, police and fire stations, a park, a post office and an athletic facility and fields. Tours are available through the visitor’s center and gift shop. Audio self-guided tours have a suggested donation of $2; guided group tours suggest donation of $1 per person. Group tours last approximately one and one-half hours and should be scheduled in advance.
