1111 Bellevue Blvd N. – Enjoy 1,400 acres of woods, prairie, wetlands and waterways, featuring deep ravines, loess ridges, more than 40 varieties of trees and more than 200 species of birds. Nineteen miles of trails lace the site, including two barrier-free boardwalks.The Katherine and Fred Buffett Forest Learning Center offers permanent historical and children’s exhibit galleries, including new exhibits featuring history of the Lewis and Clark Trail. Hundreds of nature programs and environmental education classes are offered year-round for the general public, schools and youth groups. Open daily, 8am-5pm.
